Brian Stuart-Young has since 2002 served as CEO and Chairman of Global Bank of Commerce, Ltd. He has senior management and board experience in international banking, Caribbean business, trade, and communication. He has worked in several Caribbean countries and been actively involved in promoting Antigua’s jurisdiction as an international financial centre. A Fulbright scholar, he is a regular contributor to various leading publications reporting on the regulation, products, and services of financial centres.

Chet Greene has been a key figure in Antigua and Barbuda’s national sports administration, serving in the past as Commissioner in the Ministry of Sports, as President of the Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association, and as an international football official administrator. He is dedicated to his community and has received numerous awards local, regional and international awards to acknowledge his community involvement and activism.

Led by his grandfather, the Honourable Asot Michael’s family emigrated to the Caribbean from the war-torn Middle East about half a century ago. After receiving his MBA from the University of Miami, he was appointed by then Prime Minister Lester Bird as his Chief of Staff. Following this auspicious beginning, Mr. Michael was elected Senator and named Minister of State, responsible for Public Works, Communications, Insurance, Energy, and St. John’s Development Corporation. He continued in these roles until 2001, when he was appointed Minister of Finance and Leader of Government Business in the Senate. His experience in governance is unparalleled in the Antiguan parliament, and it is his dream to see Antigua and Barbuda develop and offer more opportunities to its citizens.

The Honourable Gaston Browne had a long way to travel to reach the highest office in Antigua and Barbuda. As a child, he lived in the slum of Grays Farm with his octogenarian great-grandmother, who was at the time partially blind and very poor. From these harsh circumstances he emerged as an intelligent and driven student, and went on to earn a first-class degree from the City Banking College in London and a post-graduate degree from the University of Manchester. He served as a legislator for 15 years before being elected Prime Minister, five of which he spent as Minister of Planning & Trade. His understanding of the hardships of his people, his education, and his experience in legislation account for the notable successes of his government so far.

Agus was educated at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where he received both his bachelor’s degree and MA in Economics, and the prestigious INSEAD business school’s Fontainebleau campus in France.

Prior to being appointed CEO of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in February 2016 for the period 2016-2021, he had amassed around 25 years of professional experience in the capital market and banking industry. Agus worked for many years with Bank CIMB Niaga, where he held a number of management positions before eventually being elevated to the position of Senior Vice President. His vision is for BPJS to be “a national pride social security organisation, trusted, well-governed, and excelling in operations and services.”28

Graduating from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1989 with a M.Sc. in Engineering, Ulf went on to hold a number of management positions with MoDo Group (now Holmen Group) in Stockholm, working in areas ranging from business and finance to IT. In 1999, he was recruited by Tetra Pak.

Working initially in Italy, where he became Vice President of Finance, IT and Process Support, he went on to work for the company in executive roles in Switzerland. It was Tetra Pak which took him initially to Jakarta, where he became the Managing Director of Tetra Pak Indonesia. He was named Chairman of the Board of the European Business Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia in 2015, and has since co-founded the management consultancy Expansion Asia, of which he is a Managing Partner.
