John Sudarsky Rosenbaum has a fairly impressive resume. Born in Quindio in 1947, Sudarsky Rosenbaum studied industrial engineering, has a Master’s in Psychology and obtained a doctorate in education from Harvard.  As an entrepreneur hs is the president of successful mattress company, Industrias Spring, which has been operating in Colombia since 1952. Between 2010 and 2014, Sudarsky Rosenbaum was the senator of the Green Alliance. In politics, he has been committed to the development of public policies, particularly those focused on social cohesion and civic action. He was also a professor at the University de los Andes for 22 years before entering the political sphere.

Voices of Leaders had the pleasure of interviewing Dr Chris Nonis in 2014 while he was the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the UK, a position he held for three years from 2011 to 2014. Dr Nonis has lived and worked extensively between the UK and Sri Lanka, many of his positions have been in leadership roles within international organisations, such as  Vice-President of the Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council and President of the India Life Sciences Institute.

In 2012 the UK voted Nonis Diplomat of the Year for Asia, an impressive accolade yet one he was more than deserving of, considering the twentyfive plus years he has dedicated to his career. His career transcends sectors, having worked between the public and private sector in international affairs, business and even medicine. His diverse experience more than qualify him for his current role as Chairman of established Sri Lankan Mackwoods Group, one of the oldest mercantile businesses in Sri Lanka.

Dasantha Fonseka is an ophthalmic technologist with over twenty years experience in the field of eyecare and optometry. He started his career as an optometrist at the Eye Hospital Colombo. where he was also a lecturer. Under the inspiration of his American mentor and teacher, he decided to start his own business. Dato’ Sri Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad Abdullah currently serves as the Chairman of the Sarawak Convention Bureau. A Malaysian politician, he is also a Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Mukah constituency in Sarawak, which represents the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) in the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition. Toyad was first elected to Parliament in the 1982 election. Since then he held numerous posts in the Malaysian government. During this time he has been Malaysia’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and, after the 2004 election, he joined the full Ministry of Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi as Minister for Tourism.

Ahmad Mustapha Ghazali, a Malaysian aged 63, was appointed to the Board of Prolexus Berhad on 6 September 1993 and was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Board on 1 October 2002 and was redesignated as Executive Chairman on 25 January 2010. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK), an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of both the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has an MBA from the University of Leicester, England. He was previously attached to an international accounting firm as a partner and has more than 30 years of experience in statutory audit, financial reporting and corporate finance.
